SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 21, 2022) – A person had to be extricated following a rollover accident on Newhall Ranch Road, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened on January 19 at about 6:34 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided near the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Vanderbilt Way.
 
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn, trapping one person.
 
Firefighters arrived and safely extricated the victim from the wrecked vehicle. As per reports, no one needed hospitalization.
 
Los Angeles police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
