Person Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 94 in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 5, 2022) — A person died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 94 near 28th Street on Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 10:58 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a person spotted in the No. 1 lane.
 
Soon after, firefighters responded to the accident and began performing CPR on the victim. However, by 11:25 p.m., the victim died at the scene.
