Car Crashes Into Parked Big Rig near Lake Forest Drive in Lake Forest, Fatality Reported

 
LAKE FOREST, CA (June 24, 2022) — One person died after a car crashed into a parked semi-truck near Lake Forest Drive and Regency Lane on Thursday morning.
 
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly car accident happened around 5:15 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in an SUV crashed into a parked semi-truck on the street.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and brought the SUV driver to a hospital with unknown injuries. Tragically, the passenger inside the SUV died in the crash. Authorities have not released the person’s name.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. However, an ongoing investigation should affirm any ambiguous details. If anyone has more to add, please call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
