Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Lincoln Way in Placer County

 
PLACER COUNTY, CA (January 3, 2024) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Lincoln Way in Placer County Saturday on December 23.
 
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. near Foresthill Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver 2002-2006 Infiniti G-35 sedan was speeding eastbound on Lincoln Way toward Foresthill Road when it struck the male pedestrian who was crossing Lincoln Way.
 
After the crash, the driver of the sedan fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The pedestrian suffered major injuries including a broken pelvis, broken right ankle, and lacerations to his head and face. Paramedics rushed him to Sutter Roseville Medical Center in an unknown condition.
 
Footage showed the suspect car sustained minor damage to the front grille.
