Pedestrian, Two Drivers Injured in Accident on Highway 41 in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (March 26, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in an accident on Highway 41 on March 22.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Tulare Street at approximately 7:00 AM.
Based on a report, the victim was walking on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a Toyota pickup truck struck him. Subsequently, an oncoming Nissan pickup truck collided with the back of the Toyota.
As a result, the male pedestrian suffered major injuries. Crews transported him to Community Regional Medical Center. Currently, he is in critical condition. The two drivers had minor to moderate injuries and are now recovering in the hospital.
Crews closed two of the northbound lanes while authorities investigate this accident on Highway 41. As of now, the Fresno Police Department is still investigating the case.
