INDIO, CA (February 9, 2021) — A pedestrian died in a train collision on Indio Boulevard near Sun Gold Street Saturday January 23.
 
According to the authorities, the collision took place at about 12:08 p.m. in the 82200 block of Indio Boulevard.
 
Details about the incident are scarce following the incident. However, officials said a train struck the pedestrian on the tracks.
 
There was no immediate information, however, on how the collision occurred. It was also not immediately clear why the pedestrian was on the railroad.
