Pedestrian Fatally Hurt after Hit-and-Run Accident on Linda Vista Road near Genesee Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 26, 2021) — A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run on Linda Vista Road on Friday, October 22.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash happened at about 7:46 p.m. when a man crossed Linda Vista Road south of Genesee Avenue. He approached the east curb when a northbound vehicle hit him.
 
The victim was a 53-year-old man. Medics rushed him to Sharp Memorial Hospital but he later died. His identity is not immediately available.
 
SDPD continues to look for a dark SUV with possible front-end and windshield damage.
