24-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near Hammer Lane in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (October 26, 2021) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Hammer Lane and Kelly Drive last month on September 19.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m. According to the Stockton Police Department, the 24-year-old woman was walking near the intersection when westbound a silver or white sedan struck her.
 
After hitting the victim, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where the victim died on October 2, 2021.
