73-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on South 45th Street in Mountain View
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (December 20, 2022) – A 73-year-old woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian hit-and-run accident on South 45th Street, Monday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on December 19, at about 9:11 a.m. The woman attempted to cross in a marked crosswalk when a southbound vehicle hit her near Logan Avenue.
Emergency crews transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of a fractured femur.
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle failed to render aid and immediately fled the area.
