OAKLAND, CA (December 28, 2023) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Castro Street, Friday evening.
 
According to the Oakland Police Department, the incident happened on December 22, at about 8:00 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the pedestrian near the area of Castro Street and 19th Street.
 
Emergency crews then transported the victim to a local hospital. As per reports, the victim is in stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stay to render aid.
