LONG BEACH, CA (March 28, 2023) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a driver at 2nd Street and Pacific Coast Highway.
 
According to Long Beach police officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 9:07 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man near the Long Beach Marina. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was listed in critical condition. Soon after, Long Beach Fire Department paramedics brought him to a hospital for immediate care.
 
At the scene, the driver of the car stayed and cooperated with police investigators.
