Woman Dies in Highland Multi-Vehicle Crash at Victoria Avenue and Pacific Street

 
HIGHLAND, CA (March 30, 2021) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident Saturday night in Highland, authorities said.
 
The coroner’s office identified her as 58-year-old Paulette Samuel of Highland.
 
According to the San Bernardino Police Department, the accident happened around 6:27 p.m. on March 27 at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Pacific Street. CHP officials said multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.
 
Paramedics transported Samuel to St. Bernadine Medical Center, where she died while undergoing treatment.
 
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were factors. The SBCSD Highland Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
