Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on La Cumbre Road in Santa Barbara

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (October 17, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian Accident on La Cumbre Road in Santa Barbara Friday evening on October 13.
 
According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, the pedestrian was walking in the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle in the first north block of La Cumbre Road around 9:00 p.m.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries. Paramedics took them to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The involved driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
DUI does not appear to be a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
