WALNUT CREEK, CA (July 18, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Ygnacio Valley on July 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Oak Grove Road around 8:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim’s vehicle hit the back of a parked public works truck. At the time of the crash, the workers were doing improvements to the road.
 
As a result, the Walnut Creek Police Department said the victim sustained major injuries. Immediately, emergency crews transported the patient to the hospital for treatment. The workers were not hurt in the crash.
