One Person Dead in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Union Avenue

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 4, 2021) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Union Avenue at Pacheco Road Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 11:00 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver struck the pedestrian at the intersection and fled immediately.
 
The victim died from severe injuries.
