Two-Vehicle Accident on Washington Street in Palm Desert Kills 1 and Injures Several Others

 
PALM DESERT, CA (November 4, 2021) – One person died in a two-vehicle accident on Washington Street at Avenue 42 in Palm Desert Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:28 p.m. on November 3. According to CalFire, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Firefighters on the scene confirmed at least five people were involved.
 
Paramedics provided life-saving aid, but one person died at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Another person suffered moderate injuries, and two others sustain minor injuries. One additional person declined treatment.
 
At this time, an investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing.
