Two Vehicles Collide on 10 Freeway in Calimesa Killing at Least One Person

 
CALIMESA, CA (May 22, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Calimesa Tuesday morning on May 16.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:52 a.m. at the intersection with Brookside Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Toyota Tacoma and a green Chevrolet truck collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found at least one person suffering from major injuries. That person did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
