Early Morning Crash on 10 Freeway in Pomona Ends in Fatality

 
POMONA, CA (October 15, 2024) – At least one person was killed in a traffic accident on 10 Freeway in the Pomona area early Monday morning on October 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:27 a.m. just between Indian Hill Boulevard and Towne Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report of a crash along the westbound freeway involving unknown number of vehicles.
 
When they arrived, they confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
Officers issued a SigAlert in the area, blocking all freeway lanes while they worked on the scene.
 
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
