LODI, CA (May 16, 2022) — One person died in a head-on crash on Highway 12 shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Highway 12 near North Peatland Road. The crash area is northwest of Stockton and just east of the small Delta community of Terminous.
 
The circumstances that lead to the incident are not immediately available.
 
Officers responded at the scene. Then paramedics rushed six individuals to the hospital. However, the extent of their conditions were not yet undetermined at this time.
 
There are no reports if alcohol, drugs, or speed played a role in the accident.
