LOS ANGELES, CA (May 20, 2022) — A person died following a pedestrian crash on South Figueroa Street on Wednesday, May 18.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened at around 9:48 p.m. on 300 block of South Figueroa Street.
 
The incident does not appear to be a hit-and-run.
 
Meanwhile, footage from a local new source showed a white or gray small-to-midsize SUV that was near the scene. Its blinkers were on and it has evident damage on its hood.
 
Officials have not yet released the name, age, and gender of the victim.
