Pedestrian Suffers Fatal Injuries after Struck by Vehicle on Santa Teresa Boulevard in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (September 4, 2022) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on Santa Teresa Boulevard in San Jose on Saturday, September 3.
 
The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 5800 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard, near Santa Teresa High School. According to the San Jose Police Department, the pedestrian was walking or standing in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and later died at the scene. The victim was not yet identified.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
The circumstances of this fatality remain under investigation.
