Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Multiple Vehicles on 110 Freeway in Downtown LA

 
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA (March 23, 2023) – One person died in a pedestrian accident on 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Wednesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 2:00 a.m. on March 22, near Olympic Boulevard and 7th Street.. According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was walking in the area when several vehicles struck them.
 
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
The CHP issued a SigAlert as the four left lanes will be blocked for a few hours as authorities worked on the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available. An investigation is underway.
