Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway in Victorville Leaves 1 Dead and Sends Several Others to Hospital

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 23, 2023) – One person died in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Victorville Sunday afternoon on August 20.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:30 p.m. along the southbound freeway, just south of Dale Evans Parkway off-ramp. According to the Victorville City Fire, a black Toyota Corolla, a white Ford Maverick pickup truck, a red SUV and a dark blue Porsche SUV collided in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Firefighters extricated a pregnant woman from the SUV and rushed her to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Two adults from the truck were transported by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The male driver of the sedan was not injured.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville station.
