Motorcycle Rider Dies after Colliding with Truck near Golden Wheel Park Drive in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (June 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident near Golden Wheel Park Drive and Oakland Road on Sunday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on June 4, just a few miles north of downtown San Jose. According to the San Jose Police Department, a truck and the motorcycle collided for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered significant injuries and died at a local hospital shortly after.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
