Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Car on Avenue 52 in Coachella

 
COACHELLA, CA (April 10, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident at Avenue 52 and Cesar Chavez Street in Coachella on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:46 p.m. on April 8. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the victim was riding the motorcycle when they collided with a car at the intersection.
 
Arriving deputies found the motorcyclist with major injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist died at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. It is also unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
