Head-On Accident at Tredway and Devries Roads Ends in Fatality

LODI, CA (July 21, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a head-on accident at Tredway Road and Devries Road, Monday afternoon.

The accident happened around 3:41 p.m. on July 19 near Lodi. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white GMC pickup truck collided head-on with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact caused at least one of the vehicles to strike a light pole.

Deputies arrived and confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. They withheld the victim’s identify pending next of kin notification.

PG&E was dispatched to the scene to check the damaged light pole.

At this time, CHP officers are investigating the accident to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
