Head-On Crash on Highway 63 in Visalia Ends in Fatality

 
VISALIA, CA (January 17, 2024) – At least one person was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 63 in Visalia late Sunday evening on January 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:44 p.m. at Avenue 340. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Nissan Sentra and gray Honda collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Tulare County Fire Department crews responded and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and city of residence of the victim were not immediately available.
 
It is unclear at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
