3 Vehicles Collide Head-On on Highway 154 in Santa Ynez, Fatality Reported

 
SANTA YNEZ, CA (October 10, 2022) – One person died in a head-on accident on Highway 154 in Santa Ynez on Sunday morning, October 9.
 
The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. near Meadowvale Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the head-on crash involved three vehicles.
 
The male driver of one of those vehicles suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Three people in another car were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash. Further investigation is underway.
