Deadly Head-On Accident on Fiddyment Road in Placer County Involves Semi Truck and SUV

 
PLACER COUNTY, CA (September 28, 2021) – One person died in a head-on accident on Fiddyment Road at Sunset Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:26 p.m. on September 23. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, a semi truck and a gray Honda Pilot collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics responded and found the driver of the Honda and its passenger both trapped inside the car. They extricated the patients and transported them to a hospital.
 
Sadly, the driver did not survive and died at the scene. The passenger was treated for serious injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi truck was unharmed.
 
At this time, an investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
