Drunk Driver Causes Head-On Crash on Palmdale Boulevard Killing One Passenger

 
PALMDALE, CA (October 12, 2023) – One person was killed in a DUI head-on crash on Palmdale Boulevard in Palmdale Wednesday evening on October 11.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. near 80th Street East. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, an allegedly drunk driver swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle.
 
As a result, the passenger of the westbound vehicle suffered significant injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital, where they later died.
 
Police later arrested the driver of the first vehicle on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
