One Dead after Car Accident on Highway 33 near West Lehman Road

 
MANTECA, CA (March 23, 2022) — At least one person died in a car crash on Highway 33 at around 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white work truck and a white Hyundai sedan collided on Highway 33 in Manteca near West Lehman Road.
 
The events that led to the collision were not immediately available.
 
Emergency crews rushed to the scene. Then they freed one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
 
Medics pronounced one person dead following the accident.
