Big Rig Collide with Sedan on 22 Freeway in Garden Grove Leaving One Person Dead

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (April 3, 2023) – One person was killed in a big rig accident on 22 Freeway in Garden Grove late Friday evening on March 31.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:55 p.m. at Valley View Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the big rig collided with a sedan along the westbound lanes of the freeway.
 
A representative from the coroner’s office responded and pronounced one person dead at the scence.
 
The name, age and hometown of the deceased were withheld pending family notification.
