Police Arrest 25-Year-Old Man for DUI after Crashing into Parked Car in Santa Rosa Injuring One Person

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (May 30, 2023) – One person was injured and Eric Perez-Martinez was arrested after a DUI crash in southwest Santa Rosa Sunday evening on May 28.
 
The crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of Dutton Avenue. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the 25-year-old suspect was driving a black Honda Civic when he struck a parked Honda CR-V with one occupant inside.
 
After the crash, the Civic had rolled over.
 
First responders took the occupant of the CR-V to the hospital for treatment of a moderate head injury.
 
Police arrested Perez-Martinez on suspicion of a felony DUI. Police booked him into the Sonoma County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
