1 Person Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (November 15, 2024) — A motorcyclist involved in an accident died after a car hit him on Telegraph Canyon Road near Elks Lane.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 4:44 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a motorcyclist operating a black and silver Suzuki GSXR 1000 struck the median and lost control. Subsequently, the westbound rider flew from the bike onto the eastbound lanes, where a 56-year-old woman driving a Honda Accord struck him.
 
After the crash, the woman stopped and waited for authorities to investigate. Tragically, the motorcyclist passed away at the scene. Officials have not released his identity.
