One Injured in Car Accident on Truxtun Avenue [Bakersfield, CA]

Car Hits Bakery on Truxtun Avenue in East Bakersfield Injuring 1 Woman

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 3, 2022) – One person was injured in a car accident on Truxtun Avenue in east Bakersfield early Monday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 4:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of Truxtun Avenue. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, an unknown vehicle hit the side of the Emmanuel’s Bakery and Taqueria.
 
Paramedics responded and transported one woman to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
It is unclear if the patient was the driver or one of the people in the bakery.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
