Bicyclist Sustains Injuries after Hit by Car on Pine Avenue in Central Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (June 13, 2023) – One person was injured in a bicycle accident at Pine Avenue and Palm Avenue in Central Fresno Saturday morning on June 10.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, a car hit the bicyclist at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
As a result, the bicyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Crews closed Palm Avenue going south from McKinley Avenue while they cleared the wreckage.
 
Drugs or alcohol are not factors in the crash. An investigation is underway.
