Traffic Accident Involving 8 Vehicles on 15 Freeway in Hesperia Sends One to Hospital

 
HESPERIA, CA (October 12, 2022) – One person was hurt in an eight-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Hesperia on Friday afternoon, October 7.
 
The accident happened around 1:35 p.m. on a new bypass lane of the northbound freeway just after Ranchero Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a total of eight vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded and found the vehicles, two of them had major damage from the crash.
 
Paramedics transported one patient to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
The crash blocked the bypass lane of the northbound freeway.
 
At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash. The CHP is still investigating the circumstances and factors involved.
