2 Pickup Trucks Collide Head-On on 15 Freeway in Baker Sending 1 to Hospital

 
BAKER, CA (November 21, 2022) – One person was hospitalized in a head-on crash on 15 Freeway in Baker Saturday morning on November 19.
 
The crash happened around 5:53 a.m. at Zzyzx Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck and a white Ford F-150 pickup truck collided head-on in the northbound lanes of the freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they located both vehicles with front-end damage. They also found one person with unspecified injuries.
 
Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for treatment.
 
An investigation into the crash is underway. It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
