Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash Occurs on Soledad Canyon Road at Shangri La Drive in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 25, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Soledad Canyon Road on July 22.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Shangri La Drive at approximately 5:34 PM.
Based on a report, multiple vehicles collided in the lanes, knocking over a fire hydrant. As of now, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station has not yet released details that led to the pile-up.
As a result, one person died in the incident. Officers with the L.A. County Fire Department and L.A. County Sheriff’s Department did not release the name and gender of the victim.
In addition, the incident had caused traffic on Soledad Canyon Road heading in both directions.
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, other details are not yet clear at this time.
