LOS ANGELES, CA (January 23, 2023) — One person died in a two-car crash on South Main Street on Sunday, January 22.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened shortly after 5 a.m. in the 11400 block of South Main Street.
 
Reports said one vehicle careened into a building. Additionally, the impact of the crash trapped at least one of the drivers in their vehicle.
 
A person died at the scene. Paramedics transported another critically injured person to a hospital.
 
Footage shared to the Citizen app shows a heavily damaged white SUV at the crash site.
 
The L.A. Department of Building and Safety also responded to the area to check the integrity of the building.
