One Killed, Another Injured in Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway near Rainbow Valley Boulevard

 
FALLBROOK, CA (July 20, 2021) — One person died and another injured in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Fallbrook on Saturday, July 17.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involving a sedan happened at 3:24 a.m. on southbound 15 Freeway north of Mission Road.
 
The impact ejected both occupants of the sedan.
 
Medics rushed one man to Palomar Hospital. The identity of the deceased and the injured were not immediately released.
 
There were no reports about the circumstances that led to the collision.
 
The California Highway Patrol closed the southbound lane of the freeway from Rainbow Valley Boulevard to Mission Road. Officials issued a SigAlert and diverted the vehicles off the freeway. The roadway reopened after 10:00 a.m.
