Head-On Crash Involving 3 Vehicles on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia Sends One Person to Hospital

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 28, 2023) – One person was airlifted after a head-on accident on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia early Monday morning on November 27.
 
The accident happened around 4:38 a.m. near Bandicoot Trail. According to police, a Honda sedan, a white work van and a white Toyota pickup truck collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact of the crash injured at least one person. Mercy Air helicopter took that patient an out-of-area trauma center in an unknown condition.
 
After the crash, crews closed the Summit Valley Road in both directions for approximately two hours, resulting in a significant back-up for motorists.
