Traffic Blocked After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 in Marin County

 
MARIN COUNTY, CA (July 7, 2022) — The authorities continue their investigation of a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 that happened on Tuesday morning.
 
Based on reports, the multi-vehicle collision happened in the southbound lanes at about 6:30 a.m. The crash site is located just south of Seminary Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the aftermath of the crash left a lot of debris on the highway. There was an ambulance at the scene. However, there were no immediate reports of possible injuries.
 
Meanwhile, all southbound lanes of Highway 101 had to be shut down while the emergency response was ongoing. As the debris got cleaned up, the authorities reopened the far-right lane. Subsequently, all lanes reopened at about 7:35 a.m.
 
No reports are available as to the cause of the crash. The investigation, however, is ongoing.
