Rider Dies after Speeding Motorcycle Crashes into Car on Elk Grove Florin Road

 
ELK GROVE, CA (October 16, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove Friday night on October 13.
 
The fatal accident happened just between West Camden Drive and Sheldon Road. According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the motorcyclist was driving at a high rate of speed on northbound Elk Grove Florin Road. At the same time, a white Nissan made a turning movement from the southbound side of the same road. The motorcycle then hit the Nissan.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only described them as a someone in their 40s.
 
The driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The crash is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Traffic Bureau at 916-478-8148.
