Bus and Motorcycle Involved in Fatal High-Speed Crash on 15 Freeway in Miramar

 
MIRAMAR, CA (June 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a high-speed accident on 15 Freeway at Miramar Way late Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:43 p.m. on June 25. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was speeding along the freeway when he rear-ended a bus in the HOV lane.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in this fatal crash, which remains under investigation.
