Motorcycle Rider Injured in Sonora Crash on Mono Way near Cordelia Avenue

 
SONORA, CA (September 26, 2022) — A motorcycle rider suffered injuries in an accident on Mono Way on Wednesday, September 21.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 4:20 p.m. on Mono Way at the Cordelia Avenue intersection near Hess Avenue.
 
CHP reports said that a Chevy sedan and a motorcycle crashed and blocked part of the roadway.
 
An air ambulance arrived and airlifted the rider of the motorcycle. Additionally, a ground crew also rushed to the scene for another individual. The CHP has not released the extent of their conditions.
 
Authorities temporarily closed the area. Moreover, they advised commuters to find alternate routes.
