Rider Suffers Injuries after Traffic Accident on Highway 108 in Oakdale

 
OAKDALE, CA (July 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a traffic accident on Highway 108 in Oakdale Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on July 29, near Reed Road. The California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist collided with a Ford Mustang for unknown reasons.
 
Emergency crews responded and transported the rider to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The driver of the Ford Mustang remained at the scene and appeared to be unharmed.
 
Eastbound lanes of Highway 108 were closed while emergency personnel worked the scene. By 9:30 p.m., tow truck operators were working to clear the area.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
