Head-On Crash on Highway 94 in East County Sends Motorcycle Rider to Hospital

 
EAST COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a head-on accident on Highway 94 in East County on Sunday morning, October 9.
 
The accident happened around 11:32 a.m. near Oak Lakes Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist passed over the yellow line and struck a Ford F-150 head-on.
 
Responding paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
