Christian Robinson Dies after Hit by Semi Truck on 60 Freeway in Ontario
ONTARIO, CA (September 9, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in an accident on 60 Freeway at Euclid Avenue in Ontario on Wednesday morning.
The motorcyclist, 25-year-old Christian Robinson, died at the scene.
The accident happened around 6:50 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2021 Harley Davidson riding in the westbound lanes of the freeway made an evasive turning movement. As a result, the rider – Robinson – ejected off his motorcycle.
Robinson was then struck by a tractor-trailer semi, driven by 52-year-old Fernando Robledo of Fontana, the officer said.
At least three traffic lanes were blocked on the westbound 60 Freeway to allow investigators to survey the scene. However, all lanes reopened by 10:30 a.m.
Robledo remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
Police are continuing an investigation. As a result, anyone with information can call the California Highway Patrol’s Rancho Cucamonga office at (909) 980-3994.
We send our sincere condolences to the bereaved family and friends of Christian Robinson.
