Charles Clarke Dies in Accident on Johnston Avenue in East Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (May 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist from Beaumont died in an accident involving a sedan at Johnston Avenue and Yale Street Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:05 p.m. on May 24, just east of Hemet. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the motorcycle collided with the sedan for unknown reasons.
 
47-year-old Charles Clarke ejected onto the roadway and died at the scene. Responding paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but they could not revive him.
 
The driver of the car stopped and waited for first responders.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation. No arrests were reported at this time.
